Kang Tae Kyung said that she “didn′t feel anything” when she recently almost kissed Jang Keun Suk forLove Rain.
She said, “Honestly, there was no time for me to feel any emotion. Love Rain is my debut acting piece. Because I’m not used to shooting yet, I had no space to feel any personal emotion while I was concentrated on the cameras and my acting.”
She added, “I felt a bit jealous seeing how many local Japanese fans gathered near our lodgings late in the night to cheer for [Jang Keun Suk]. I was surprised to see many scenes that I’ve never experienced yet unfold in front of me, and I also started realizing that I’m the counterpart of a hallyu star so I should work harder.”
Kang Tae Kyung appeared as a top model in the drama, and tried to seduce Seo Joon (Jang Keun Suk) with her ingenuous character. The two attempted a kiss scene in a car and a bed scene in a hotel room, but never saw both through to the end.
Kang Tae Kyung first became known by appearing in TV commercials, including those for cell phones, drinks, credit cards and ramyeon.
