Korean actor Jang Geun Suk became a highly passionate DJ at Summer Sonic 2012. At the Summer Sonic 2012 music festival on Aug 18 to 19 held at Osaka & Tokyo, Jang Geun Suk formed Team H to participate at this event, put on great performance together with world renowned artistes.

Jang Geun Suk with his music partner Big Brother’s Team H showed their great abilities. Amongst world artistes like Green Day, Rihanna, Jamiroquai, Sigur ros, Kessha, Hoobastank etc, they also shone & totally controlled the stage of Summer Sonic 2012.

In the two days event, Jang Geun Suk performed passionately the songs from Team H album ‘We Are’, ‘Can’t Stop’, Shake It, Gotta Getcha fast tempo songs as well as 5 DJ music, almost 40 minutes spent with audience dancing & partying happily.

On Aug 19 on Rainbow Stage in Tokyo, Jang Geun Suk saw the crowdiness & pushing in the audience. Using his smart judgment, he stopped his performance immediately & avoided any dangerous incidents. Following that, he took the festival to extreme high with his great & professional DJ skills & passionate stage performance.

At the live interview before the performance, with fluent English he spoke about participating at Summer Sonic, Team H music & their plans for their future activities, they received great applaud.

At the 2012 UMF Korea & Summer Sonic 2012 which were participated by world artistes, Jang Geun Suk showcased his music talents, a lot of fans saw him differently and look forward to his future endeavours.

Frankly speaking, my image of Jang Keun Suk proved wrong. I really wish he will continue this path for music. I totally don’t know him. I only thought he was just an Hallyu star. I was not a fan of Jang Keun Suk, but I went to see his stage because I feel some similarities between Tamamori (He played the same role in YAB Japanese version) and him. To my surprise, he himself as well as the performance was so cool and I fell in love ♥ I’ve attended SUMMER SONIC for 10 years, but it was the first time I experienced that the performance was paused because the audience heated up.

Team H abruptly changed the hot atmosphere of SUMMER SONIC into clubbing air. Team H is a unit formed by a famous Hallyu star Jang Keun Suk and his partner on music Big Brother. They made a long-awaited debut in Japan this March. Their trendy tunes have succeeded to get many supports from music fans.

[NEWS] ‘Team H’ to Special Guest at UMF KOREA-World’s electronic music festival

Asia Prince Jang Keun Suk and Big Brother Kurt together comprise ‘Team H’ who are well known for their highly electrifying performances. Their ‘Lounge H’ albums have been released in China and Japan and have gained major popularity. Recently Team H have been invited to perform as special guests in UMF Korea.


UMF Korea is a premiere world electronic music festival scheduled to take place on August 3 and 4, 2012 at Olympic stadium complex situated in Seoul. World class DJ’s have been reported to perform for this exciting festivals and the ticket sales have been sky rocketing.

[NEWS] Jang Keun Suk will perform at Summer Sonic 2012 in Japan

Jang Keun Suk will perform at popular music festivals with many world-renowned singers.

On July 2, a spokesperson for Jang reported Jang was recently invited to both UMF Korea 2012, the largest electronic dance festival in Asia, and Summer Sonic 2012, one of the two largest rock festivals in Japan and the largest urban music festival in Asia.

UMF Korea 2012 will be held on August 3 and 4 at Olympic Stadium in Jamsil Sports Complex. Including Tiesto, Carl Cox, Skrillex, and Steve Aoki, many world-renowned DJs and bands will perform at the festival.

Summer Sonic 2012 will be held on August 18 and 19 in Tokyo and Osaka. Such world-renowned musicians as Green day, Rihanna, Jamiroquai, Sigur ros, Ke$sha, and Hoobastank will perform at the festival.

Jang will perform as a member of Team H, a project group formed with his music partner Big Brother.

Jang, who ranked first on the Oricon’s daily and weekly charts as soon as his first Japanese album was released, will hold a concert, titled 2012 Jang Keun Suk Asia Tour – The Cri Show 2 in  Seoul, on July 7 at Korea University.

[NEWS] Jang Keun Suk to Stand on Stage at the Upcoming Outdoor Electronic Music Festival UMF

Come this August, Jang Keun Suk will be rubbing shoulders with some of the world’s biggest electronic music DJs and artists.


Ultra Music Festival Korea (UMF) announced its additional lineup on June 29 revealing the singer/actor had been included. ULF Korea will be held for two days on August 3 and 4 at Seoul’s Jamsil Indoors Stadium. Featuring the world’s hottest electronic music DJs and artists, the confirmed lineup already includes Skrillex, Tiesto, Steve Aoki, John Digweed and more.


Jang Keun Suk was invited as a special guest by Team H, though details of their performance has not yet been revealed.

With 44 artists and DJs already confirmed and more to come, UMF Korea will be the first of its kind to be held in Asia.
