[Fan Account] 10/3/2012 JKS Leave Paris Back to Korea (Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport)

First, I see Gunsama pushed a cart walking by. I waved to him, he nodded back to me, and behind him that was Jang Keun Suk pushed the cart walking slowly. There was no one beside him. He was without any make up but his has a delicate face, his skin is a bit pale, just look like his weibo profile picture.

Later I came up to him said Hello in Korean, and asked if I can get his autograph, he pointed to his luggage cart and said to me: “check in first”. His voice is magnetic. He went forward then I said to him that I will wait for him. He looked back. There is a corridor between us. He and Gunsama took a while to check in then they pushed the cart to VIP check in, it took a while as well, there was nobody behind them. So I took a picture from the back.

Some eel suggested that we keep more distance with him, we moved back further, actually there was no one in front of us and behind him. Because VIP was separate with Economy class, there was only two of them were checking there at last. During checking in, he looked back at us, he must think why we standed so far away lol. After a while, he finished and pushed the empty cart walked towards us. Then he started to sign the autographs.

I grabbed the chance went to him, gave him the notebook and pen, he signed for me first, I used a same iPhone with white cover just like his to show him how to spell my name: “It’s my name”. He signed halfway and looked at iPhone to see my tiny name typing in there. I forgot if I thanked him or not because there were two French girls asked for paper from me, I had to turn back and answered them.

Jang Keun Suk kept signing autographs for others with my pen, the autographs for those two French girls were also on my notebook, so there were 3 autographs on my notebook. He signed about 5 of them, me and other 4 French girls. Only mine is with my name on it. Then he walked towards customs and waved back to us.

I was about to go back after he waved, thought that was it. But when I walked back halfway, I found out only myself left, all the others were still standing there to see him off. Because he was at customs for quite a while, so I stayed until he was done with customs and went inside. There were something happened but since the words limit on weibo, I just skip them here.

[News] JKS will attend a event toward establishment of “World Orhapns Day”

World Orphans Day is a global event to raise awareness and funding for the millions of children displaced by AIDS and poverty. United Nation designated that every 1st of May “World AIDS orphans Day” in 2002. Originally orphans and bereaved child are different. So those who have been active to save orphans for a long time are trying to establish “World Orphans Day” separately.

The movement to establish “World Orphans Day” has officially begun in Korea this year because 2012 is the 100th anniversary of Tauchi Chizuko’s birth. She is called Mother of Korean orphans. She is originally a Japanese, but she married with a Korean and dedicated herself to saving orphans in her whole life. In conclusion, she was given the Order of Korean Culture and People’s in 1965.

In commemoration of her birth, some special events to promote the establishment of World Orhapns Day will be held from October 29th to 31st, 2012 in Mokpo-si, Korea. And Jang Keun Suk will attend one of the event held at 20:00 ~ 21:30 on October 30th (the eve event of her 100th anniversary). He seems to make a speech about something related to Korea and Japan.

“The world keeps turning even without me.. Change my thought that no one can do except me..” What nice these words! When I encountered them while reading, they struck home to me.
내가 없어도 세상은 잘 돌아가요..놓으세요.. 내가 아니면 안된다는 그 마음.. 이 얼마나 멋진 말인가 책 읽다가 한 방 맞았다..

tenshi_akuma’s note: Jang Keun Suk seems to have read a book titled “Things You Can Finally See When You Stop” written by Ven. Haemin. See the detail from here.

[Music] English translation of the lyrics “Tomorrow”

I wonder if we’ve reached the position where we envisioned at that time.
Your warm smile like sunshine is still shining in my heart.

I’ve walked against the flow of crowds.
Because I don’t want to regret my life even if someone laughs at me.

Stepping into tomorrow tomorrow.
Let’s knock on the door for tomorrow.
Tomorrow tomorrow
It is urge to motivate me.
Fly fly fly high
Fly fly fly higher
Fly fly fly high
Fly fly fly high
To the future

I’ve lost as much as I’ve gained, but
the only thing I want to commit is our promise on that day.

Both tears and mistakes are my precious treasure.
The time will come when these experiences help me to bloom.

Stepping into tomorrow tomorrow
Let’s keep trying to knock on the door.
Tomorrow tomorrow
To the world I’ve never seen yet.
Fly fly fly high
Fly fly fly higher
Fly fly fly high
Fly fly fly high
Let’s go hand in hand together…

Yes it’s my dream
Yes it’s my life
Yes it’s my love

Let’s keep running single-mindedly

Stepping into tomorrow tomorrow.
Let’s knock on the door for tomorrow.
Tomorrow tomorrow
It is urge to motivate me.
Fly fly fly high
Fly fly fly higher
Fly fly fly high
Fly fly fly high
To the future

This is my story
This is my dream
This is my story
This is my dream

World Prince Jang Keun Suk, the expert driver!

“an.an World Prince an expert in driving and front cover afterwords”

This shooting is done in Seoul in an upscale residential area, the room’s natural lighting and atmosphere is fantastic, but each time only one car can pass the road, a narrow gravel road with steep slopes. Jang Keun Suk drives his favorite car his Maserati to the shooting venue. Maybe because the shooting is done in his homeland, he looks easy and calm.

Jang Keun Suk looked more like a “boy next door Oppa” than a “World Prince” with his casual style, always wearing a smile on his face throughout the shooting. This photo of the front cover, in fact is taken during his rest time without him knowing, an outdoor shoot, while he is resting by the windows, at that time he is singing Busker Busker song. The entire staff is intoxicated by his singing and expression.

A dense, short four hours with World Prince. He parked his Maserati in front of the photo shoot venue, it’s a dead end, you must make a U-turn to turn back, as said earlier this is a narrow gravel road and steep slopes, making a U-turn is extremely difficult. But Jang Keun Suk without thinking just sat in the driver’s seat, comfortably controlling the Super car, making a U-turn without any fuss, there is no doubt that the staff is full of applause.

“World Prince” indeed, not only is he good in acting and singing, even in driving he is an expert! Coincidentally, this Maserati appears in one part of the magazine. Please look for it! (Going back to look at the magaz.. ing⋯ ⋯)

[Interview/Magazine] anan_2012.10.03 (No.1825)

[Exclusive interview]
JANG KEUN-SUK
Prince of the World

We interviewed with “World Prince” in Seoul! He was relaxed probably because the interview took place in his hometown. During shooting photos, he sang songs for us and unveiled a secret for the first time… We succeeded to catch his real self not shown in Tokyo.

My next goal is to be “World Prince”. Once I have declared , I will make my dream reality.

This shooting was held at a studio in Seoul. Keun Suk who himself drove his car to the shooting location seemed more relaxed than usual. “I feel most comfortable when I’m driving a car alone. Except this, I’m obsessed with work. It might be driving a car is the only time when I feel free without thinking”.

About 2 years has passed since he became super popular after appearing on ‘You Are Beautiful’. Since then, he’s kept running tirelessly. His latest drama is ‘Love Rain’. He played a double role, In Ha, art student in 1970s and Jun, his son, today. “It was quite a fun to play completely different roles in one drama. Since my childhood I’ve been a big fan of Director Yoon Seok-Ho’s drama ‘Color’. So I was happy to work with him”.

As it is a love story, there are a lot of kissing scenes in the drama. “I’ve enjoyed shooting kissing scenes because I haven’t kissed for a while. Lol. Was I nervous? I wasn’t at all. Because I have confidence. Lol. But I’ve always had complains about kissing scenes in dramas. I want to kiss more freely, but I can’t because of the shooting angle. As for kissing scenes, I prefer movies because I can kiss more realistically! Lol”… like this, his mischievous answers haven’t changed a bit. The big thing he’s changed since he first appeared on our cover one and a half years ago is the interview was conducted all in Japanese and perfectly. During shooting, he communicated with the photographer in English. On the other hand. he spoke to us in Japanese. His brightness really amazed us. “I am an actor, but I am a singer, too. I think knowing the meanings of the lyrics is totally different from without that. As long as I sing in Japanese, I must learn hard”.

Keun-suk is active as a singer, too. He is currently in the midst of arena tour. He’s directed the stage since the producution this time. “It’s not in my nature to leave the production to other people. Of course, when acting, it’s necessary to create with other actors and staff. On the other hand, when I’m on stage as a singer, it’s important to bring what I want to convey into shape”.

I became blind to my goal for the first time in 20 years.

This year is Keun-Suk’s 20th anniversary since his debut. How does he feel?

“Until last year I thought something would change when the time came. But in fact, nothing changed. Lol. I’m thinkig what to do in the future while watching my past works”.

His specific plans to the future are as follows. “As an actor, I want to find my representative work. As a singer, I want to challenge various genre of music. Besides, I’m starting a new bussiness this year. I’ll open a shop in Shibuya, Japan, where I’m going to offer original products collaborated with various brand-name manufactures. The first ones are bag collaborated with Korean brand, but eventurally, I want to cooperate with Japanese or foregin brand-names. In this case also I’ve been involved since the planning stage and negotiated them directly. The interior of the shop is in progress, so I hope it will be open within this year”.

Listening to his plans, we’ve become convinced that his leverage and ambition are indeed extraordinary. That’s why he’s reigned as Asian Prince. “I spare no effort to carry out my word. When I released my first CD in Japan last year, I answered that my dream is to be Asian Prince in a lot of interview. LSince then, I’ve found newspapers in different countries describes me as ‘Asian Prince, Jang Keun Suk’. Without knowing, I’ve really become Asian Prince. Lol. A sense of responsibility for my word is probably my motive force”.

However, he’s experienced to give way to despair before. This year he thought he really wanted to quit his job since his debut for the first time. “It was around after Tokyo Dome performance in Japan. Performing at Tokyo Dome was my dream since I was a child. So after realizing the dream, I became blind to my goal for the first time. Every time when I was asked what my next goal is in interviews, I came to think that I want to escape. And, this is my first confess in public, but, in fact, I came to think that I want even to die at that time. Last year I worked literally day and night, so I had no time to relax. I needed some time to consider”. Under such situation, he had a car accident when his manager was driving a car. Fortunately Keun-Suk didn’t get a big damage. “I thought I was about to die. Lol. But when the car narrowly stopped, I thought, ‘Oh, I’m still alive!’ At that moment I found my next goal.. to be World Prince. I felt as if God had asked me ‘What do I live for?’ Of course, as long as I have made a promise, I will make my dream reality. I’m sadistic even toward me, I push myself to do my best”.

At first, I depend on and try to be nicer.

His well-known sadistic characteristics still remain. But we wonder if he might be masochistic when he’s in love…!? “Never! I’m totally sadistic. Of course, at first I depend on her and try to be nicer to her. But it’s just because I try to give her a good expression. Lol. Most of the time, I push her around. But, currently I devote to eels (my fans) only. This is true! When I hold a concert or speak something through camera, I do so thinking I’m in love with my eel. It’s true that I have no time and room to spare, so I don’t need to be in love. But, to be honest, I want to be in love with you, my dearest eel. Lol”.
